Committed to our environment
Aware of our responsibility vis-à-vis our clients, we play an active role in driving change and progress in the technology sector in our quest to improve our environment. Since 2014, Alhambra IT has had a specific Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) group made up of 3 cross-cutting departments of the company (Marketing, HR and Quality), and coordinated by the General Management, which is responsible for promoting CSR actions within the company.
Member of the Global Compact
We have been a signatory of the Global Compact since 2014, promoting corporate social responsibility in the areas of human rights, labour standards and legislation, the environment and anti-corruption. We have renewed the COP until 8 February 2022.
Commitment to change
We are members of sectoral associations that set the European technology agenda, such as the ACS CSTIC Committee, asLAN, IAMCP, ISMS Forum and founding members of Silicon Alley..
We are constantly striving to reduce the carbon and nuclear footprint of our activities and the services we provide to our clients. Objective 2020: to be a CO2 Neutral company, something that we have already achieved 100% in our data centres in Spain (powered entirely by green energy), as well as in our central offices in Madrid and in all the 24×7 services we provide.
In addition, we have internalised the recycling of IT equipment, furniture, electrical and documentation material, as well as the small waste generated by our employees through daily recycling.
Commitment to the most disadvantaged
Our CSR programme includes a section directly focused on helping the most disadvantaged. Historically, we have actively collaborated with Aldeas Infantiles, Asociación Española de la Psicología de la Música y la Interpretación Musical (AEPMIM), the NGO Comparte, Unicef, Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (AECC), the NGO Sunrise Africa, Save the Children, Fundación Pequeños Pasos, Cáritas, Banco de Alimentos and Bomberos Ayudan, among others.

At Alhambra we are firmly committed to promoting total equality of conditions regardless of gender, race, nationality or ideology, promoting at all times an atmosphere of teamwork, respect and enthusiasm for customer orientation, technology and innovation.
In addition, we work actively with employees to create work-life balance programmes that are flexible and adapted to the needs of our staff.
We hold ISO38500 certification, which includes various corporate social responsibility processes, including those related to conducting business in an honest manner with clients, suppliers and society as a whole.
